Well, since this trip is now only 2 sleeps away, I guess I really should make sure I can make this blog work. Hopefully we'll have better luck with Turkey than we did with Italy.
18 months in the planning - actually 50 years in the planning since it's a 50th birthday celebration for us - and it's now only 2 sleeps away. So much to do, so little time.
Actually things aren't looking so bad. I finished packing today - and this is what I will bring for 5 weeks in Turkey:

I won't be stylish, and there will be a lot of pictures of me wearing the same clothes, but at least my pack will be light! And my guess is, there will be shops there that sell stuff, just in case.....
